We were so blessed to see how many have responded to this child’s difficult situation. His mother has gone to four hospitals/clinics in Haiti and spent all of her money. They did nothing for him. Then, her friend had a dream. In the dream, she was to take him to a clinic called “Love A Child.” From there, one of our friends sponsored the cost of his CT scan in Port-au-Prince. The scan revealed that a brain tumor was spreading all the way to the optic nerve of his eye and pushing it out.

Yesterday, we had so many friends respond to this on Facebook. But, immediately when we posted it, Calvin Babcock, a Board Member at the Baptist Hospital of Miami, got in touch with us. As of right now, the scan and information is being sent to Russ Montgomery, who is at Double Harvest. He will take them to the States tomorrow to Calvin Babcock, and from there they will try to find help for Alvin. I am sure Alvin will die without a miracle… but, who knows what the Lord can do? Thank you for your love, your prayers, and for reaching out to this child, whom you have never met! We want to thank Calvin and his big heart and all of you who responded. We will keep you posted!!!
