Alvin Jonsley’s mother has 17 people in her family. She is the only Christian! Her son Alvin is her only child. She spent three days in the mountains, walking, praying and fasting that God would give her son a miracle and make a way for him. She went to four different hospitals in Haiti and they did nothing to help. Someone told her to come to Love A Child.

From here, we sent Alvin for a scan, which cost $600 US. She could have never afforded this but the scan revealed a tumor, which was forcing the eye out! We posted this on Facebook and immediately got help! Now, their plane tickets are paid for, and the hospital and doctor’s bills are no cost. They will also have food and an apartment near the hospital. Our Haitian Pastor, Pastor Narcisse, will make sure his church in Miami gets them to church! Alvin makes the highest grades in his class, and with only one eye. He had wanted to be a doctor since he was three so he could help people!! What a story of God’s grace!!! Sherry
