We received a great update about Dieubon from his host dad Rad Hazelip, our Love A Child Assistant Director. We wanted to make sure you were the first to hear the news. Here is an update from Rad:

“Today Dieubon had his last appointment with the doctors at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Tampa, Florida. He had x-rays and physical tests to determine how well he has recovered from his seven-hour back surgery in May. The doctors were amazed at his recovery and gave him a great report. He has to continue to wear his back brace for another month and then continue to refrain from lifting more than six pounds or any strenuous activity until the end of November. Dieubon says he feels great and is ready to get back to the orphanage.”
