This sweet boy is Dorissant Burnette. Like so many children here in Haiti, his father abandoned him after his mother died. A neighbor brought him to our Love A Child Children’s Home. He was a very shy boy when he first came to us, but came out of his shell as his new brothers and sisters made him feel welcome in his new home. We gave him lots of nutritious food three times a day and lots of love. He is growing up so fast and is now in third grade at our Love A Child School and doing well. Like all little boys, he loves playing soccer and has lots of energy, and like all the younger children, we keep him busy around the Children’s Home.
