This little boy is Noah, and he was abandoned one morning in early January in front of our Love A Child gate. Kaeli, our missionary, took him to the Jesus Healing Center. He was about 2-years-old and had visible signs of abuse. We brought him back to our children’s home, bathed him, fed him, held him, gave him clean clothes and a toy, and he fell asleep. It’s now been eight months, and it has been a rough road for this young toddler. We did not know his name, because he didn’t talk. As soon as Social Services released him to our Love A Child Children’s Home, we named him Noah Burnette. He was afraid of everything, and he had several health scares that put him in the hospital. He is slowly on the road to recovery. He eats food now, though often he tries to hide it. He is very cautious about people, and he is starved for love. He was badly abused, and it will take him a long time to adjust. He is really starting to come out of his shell. He wants to help doing chores, and he tries his best. He is such a joy, with a big smile, who laughs and gets into lots of mischief. He is now walking and getting lots of hugs from his new big family. He’s come a long way in such a short time. Thank you, partners, for saving another young life here in Haiti. Blessings, Bobby and Sherry
