Update Now: Jackson

Jackson (Jasson in Creole) has just returned from the hospital. When he got out of our truck, tears were streaming down his face. He has been through so much for a child. We walked him to his room where he laid down. He is a sad little boy…

The “good news” is that we thought it would cost “a lot more” for the surgery, but so far, with medications, it is about $4,000. Here is the report from Dr. Barthelemy:

“Jasson has just come back home after a few days spent in the hospital because where he was is the most dangerous area in Croix-des-Bouquets. We are glad that everything is going well, even though the disease has weakened his blood vessels. But the surgery was a success, and now we are waiting for the fistula (in both arms) to grow in one or two months so that his doctor can let us know when it is okay for him to be on dialysis. All the days spent in the hospital, the medications, the lab tests, and the surgery have cost us about $4,000.”

We are thankful that the surgeries have not cost more than $4,000. We know that there will be a lot more expenses. If the Lord is leading you to help with Jackson’s medical costs, any amount would be a blessing!! Please call our office at 239-210-6107 and ask to speak with Rad. God bless you and thank you so, so much for praying for little Jackson! We all love him so much.
