Baby Elijah, who was abandoned about three months ago in front of our gate here at Love A Child, was sent home from a Haitian hospital Sunday afternoon. He continues to have major seizures and is in critical condition. We have found a doctor here in Haiti who will do his shunt surgery sooner, if we can get a shunt. We are in desperate need of a pediatric shunt – a small contoured, low or medium pressure ventriculoperitoneal shunt.
