This sweet young girl is Betina. She was born shortly after the 2010 earthquake, in an area of Port-au-Prince called Cité Soleil. The only thing we know about her is that she was abandoned in the slums because her family could no longer feed all their children. Fortunately, she was found by some kind Haitian social workers, who contacted us at our Love A Child Children’s Home. We immediately took her into our large and loving family. We gave her lots of love and good nutritious food. She was very shy and quiet when she first came here, but she loved playing with her new sisters. We had several children in our children’s home that were about her age who helped bring her out of her shell. Now, she is full of joy, and she is growing up to be a bright, young girl who is very curious and loves to play dress-up with her sisters. She can be a bit of a mischievous child and she is always laughing. We can’t wait to see what God has planned for this lovely girl!
