Daphline is now 12 years old and in the 7th grade. She was born in the mountains of Savaan Roche, very far from here. When her mother died, right after childbirth, her father took her to live with her aunt (the sister of her mother). However, that woman’s husband had just been shot and killed. She already had nine children and was pregnant before her husband was killed, so this baby was brought to us.

We all love Daphline. She does very well in school! She is a talented young girl. She loves to dance in the praise dances, and she is learning to play drums! She is extremely helpful, and all of the kids love her. If there is a “conflict,” she knows how to settle it and have everyone end up with a smile!!! She is just a beautiful, wonderful young girl. She hopes and dreams to become a pharmacist!!! With God’s help, I believe she can do that!!! We love her so, so much!!!! Sherry
