Update on Dieuferly

We are in the Dominican Republic, and this morning, we have a doctor’s appointment at 9:30 am at the hospital LaRomana, regarding Dieuferly’s feet. We had a Mobile Clinic in the mountains of Covant, Haiti. His mother had nine children, and Dieuferly, age 3, had club-feet. We brought him down the mountain on a nine-hour trip by mule. Since then, he has had several surgeries, some by doctors “who were not club-feet specialists .” Because they were volunteers, his surgeries were never completed, which has caused him a lot of pain and serious complications.

We want to thank RL and his wife, Vanessa, for finding a doctor to see Dieuferly this morning. RL and Vanessa also took care of Dumolia when we brought her to the DR to see a specialist. Today, we may know more about his condition and what can be done. We ask your prayers for this very important doctor’s appointment today.
