We had a peaceful trip back from the Dominican Republic. We have an appointment for Dieuferly on June 9th regarding the process for his feet.

Our friend RL and his wife, Vanessa, will now have a new truck to carry on our work together, in the D.R., with our friends David and Angie George. Haiti and the Dominican Republic share the same island of Hispanola. The Dominican side is Spanish speaking, and the people are much better off than the Haitian side. They are “worlds apart.”

There are about 11,000,000 people on both sides! We love the people of both countries, but God has called us mainly to Haiti. It is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The Dominican Republic covers 2/3 of the island.

The hospital which we took Dieuferly to is huge. Its concentration is orthopedic care…anything that has to do with legs and feet. This hospital and these doctors are amazing, and we are so glad that Dieuferly will be in their care.

Please be in prayer that when Dieuferly goes back on June 9th, that everything will go well and that he will have the proper care for “both feet.”
