Djonsly and his mother are “two peas in a pod!” His mother was the one who had faith that God would lead her to the right Hospital or Clinic to find help for her son.

About two years ago or more, Djonsly’s right eye pushed itself out of its socket. It was horrible to look at. His mother looked for any Clinic or Hospital in Haiti to help, but all the doors were shut in their face. Even with “one eye hanging out of its socket,” Djonsly was making high grades in school, but he was so horrifying to look at, no one could stand to be around him.

God told his mother to take him to Love A Child. We found a wonderful Hospital in the States and the best Cancer specialists. He had several operations for his cancer, but on the last one his Visa ran out!

He came back from the States, but the Hospital wanted him back for another surgery. It took one year of writing, pleading, and begging, one good Attorney, and a Congressman’s Office to have his Medical Visa restored. Meanwhile, there are thousands of illegals pouring into our Borders with no Visas or paperwork! It didn’t seem fair. But, God gave him a Miracle!

We took him and his mother through the Dominican Republic because there were gangs in Haiti between us and the Port-au-Prince Airport! We finally reached the ticket counter in the Dominican Republic… after getting everyone’s Covid tests. But the people at the ticket counter said, “They cannot get on the plane without Vaccines! They didn’t have them!”

But as we stood at the counter begging, the presence of the Lord came down and a man said, “This is a Humanitarian Emergency!” With that, we got on the plane and headed to the States.

Djonsly had another check-up and the doctor said, “He doesn’t need the surgery just yet. Let’s wait and see.” You can see in this picture how much this mother loves her son! Thank you, partners, for making a difference.
