When we sent out a plea for a shunt for Baby Elijah’s operation, we never knew God would move so quickly and actually “double” our blessing.

The first facility and group of doctors to respond was from Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. Mike Essmann, one of our staff members, drove to the hospital to pick it up, and immediately made plans to fly the shunt to Haiti. He arrived yesterday and the baby and shunt left for an appointment with Neurologist Ariel Henry this morning. Thank you all so much!

At the same time, a wonderful doctor named David also made plans to send a shunt to our office. That shunt will be sent to Hospital Bernard Mevs here in Haiti to help with the operations of 50 babies like Elijah!  We consider all this a “double blessing” by the Lord! Our hearts are deeply touched! Thank you all so much. We will keep you posted on Elijah’s surgery. Sherry
