This young lady is Florence Jeannot. She has been with us for most of her life. Her mother Sanrilius died when she was young, and her father Alphonse abandoned her and her three siblings not long after that. When she first came to live at the Love A Child Children’s Home, she was severely malnourished and had tuberculosis. She received medical treatment for her tuberculosis and three hot, nourishing meals each day, as well as lots of love from her huge Love A Child family. It didn’t take long for Florence’s health to improve. She quickly became a happy and loving child. When the earthquake hit Haiti, Florence spent hours working alongside physical therapists helping to heal those injured. She has a passion for physical therapy and helping to heal the injured. Florence is now studying to become the “best physical therapist” in Haiti. Thank you, partners, for helping to change another life in Haiti and giving this young lady a bright future. God bless you.
