Update on Florentine: Thank you very much for praying for Florentine. Prayer works! He is holding his own today. Florentine, who was shot yesterday through the neck with the bullet coming out through the other shoulder and just passing under his brain, could have been killed or paralyzed for life.

We love Florentine. I had met with him three times yesterday morning with others going over some chicken problems. He is a good guy and a hard worker who always has a sweet spirit. You never know what the next hour may bring.

He went to the bank yesterday to cash a check for Love A Child for one of our children to start Midwife School. The robbers stopped him after he just left the bank. Knocking out the glass window and holding a gun to his head, they said, “We want the yellow envelope with the American money inside.” He gave it to the thieves and they still shot him. It had to be an inside bank job… The Lord was with Florentine. Please continue to pray for him.
