We are thankful that we received our diesel this morning at our Love A Child compound. By late this afternoon, we would have been completely out of diesel. We have no gas. This morning, we received half the amount we needed. They were coming back this afternoon with our other half of diesel.
Stanley, who is over our diesel, just came in and told Sherry and me that the company cannot deliver any more fuel and that they don’t know when they can. Stanley said that the fuel people told him six diesel tanker trucks have been stolen by the gangs. People have been shot (shootings in many areas) and it’s chaos here on many streets. Haiti is in a crisis…
Why is none of this on the news in America? I don’t know. Maybe it is… Has anyone seen any reports? Sometimes, I wonder if any country or anyone else cares for Haiti and its precious people? If someone doesn’t come in here and help to overcome the gangs, establish law and order, I don’t know what is going to happen.
We are claiming Haiti for Christ! We all need your prayers.
