This is Jackson. (Jasson in Creole.) He is such a sweet young boy; very quiet. We first discovered him when we had a Mobile Medical Clinic in Savaan Pit, Haiti. He was brought to us by his uncle. He had “severe” kwashiorkor malnutrition. His stomach was so huge because it was full of water. He had no protein. His face was swollen, as well as his feet. We brought him back to our Love A Child Children’s Home and began the long process of having the water drained from his body and getting him on medication for his kidneys. Today, he is in school and doing much better. Jackson has always been obedient and so sweet and hardworking! We all love Jackson!! He wants to be a teacher, and I think he will be a good one! Sherry
