Today, our driver Philemond is with Jackson and three of our Haitian nurses, who must be recertified to continue to do dialysis on Jackson each night! Without this legal certification, they would not be allowed to continue his dialysis at night. (They are on a rotating schedule, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.)
They also discovered that Jackson has an infected navel where the port goes in at night. This is why they will do blood tests and check up on Jackson. Jackson is on a “very regimented” diet. So when he goes to the Dominican Republic, all of his special diet foods, and all the bags of dialysis liquid go with him.
The Dominican Republic has been closed for several months, but they can let “special cases” go through. (Most of the people at the border know Philemond, and this helps!) Thank you for all your love and prayers in the past, but we are not at “the finish line” yet, so please keep those prayers coming! Thank you!
