Jackson is still in the Dominican Republic where he has been under doctor’s care for dialysis. As you may know, we found Jackson deep in the mountains of Savaan Pit during a Mobile Medical Clinic. At that time, due to Kwashiorkor Malnutrition, his stomach was HUGE and full of water. We brought him to Love A Child and began the long road to his health. He is on dialysis each night, all night long. He has developed a problem in one of his legs that has become smaller than the other. He has had to repeat a year of school due to trips back and forth to see the doctors in the Dominican Republic, who are much more qualified to help him. And, by going to the Dominican Republic, we don’t have to travel through gang territory in Haiti.

We all have faith that God will perform a miracle in his life! Please keep on praying for Jackson. He is a very intelligent young teen who loves school and just wants a normal life. Sherry
