Jackson is still in Santo Domingo. He loves his new hat! He has been seen by his doctors and is undergoing daily infusions of antibiotics in his dialysis solution. The doctors are trying to knock out peritonitis, an infection in his abdomen. If they are unable to solve the problem through antibiotics, they will have to put him on hemodialysis. This will be a huge challenge for us. We are praying that the infection leaves his body so Jackson can continue to receive peritoneal dialysis. This type of dialysis can be done in Haiti with his special machine.
