This young boy is Jacob Jean. Soon after he was born in the village of Bois Monquette, his mother passed away. His father was unable to care for him, as there were too many other children to feed. He does not know how many siblings he has, or where they are. He was brought to our Love A Child Children’s Home around the age of one. This poor boy was so malnourished when he arrived here, and we started feeding him three times a day with hot and nourishing food. Look how he has grown! He’s a very happy boy that loves playing soccer with his brothers. He enjoys going to church, and he is doing well in school. This summer he worked alongside our Haitian Construction Crew helping with some of our building projects.
