As many of you know, our sweet “Job” (age 14), who has grown up in our orphanage, had a bad “infection of the bone” in his lower leg. Job is the sweetest, quietest, and most obedient kid in the orphanage. He makes excellent grades and wants to be a doctor. But some time ago, he began to develop an infection in his lower leg. He was sent to a Haitian doctor, who did nothing but give him medicine and put his leg in a cast.
As it grew worse, Job could not walk to school. We immediately took him to a specialist in the Dominican Republic. When they operated, they discovered he had a “very severe bone disease” in his lower leg. The doctor said that if we had not taken him to the hospital in the D.R., he would have lost his leg or even his life. The doctor and surgical team worked hard, cleaning the “inside of the bone” and removing the infection. He will return in a couple of weeks for a checkup. For now, he is staying home and studying!
Please, let’s all pray for Job, that the Lord will completely heal him! Special thanks to a family who paid for his operation. That was a miracle!!! God bless all of you who have been praying for Job!!!
