Update on Job

Job…

When his mother died in childbirth, his father brought him to our Orphanage and asked us to take him in. We agreed…

Job was always soft-spoken and respectful. As he got into his teens, he sprung up “like a coconut tree!” He was getting taller and taller!

Job is quiet and does his chores with no problem. He wakes up early to water the plants in our courtyard.

But about a year ago, he developed a disease in his leg from the bone down. It was so bad he couldn’t walk.

We took Job to the Dominican Republic for surgery. They cleaned out the inside of his bone and filled it with a “glue-like” substance. Then, he had to go back after several months to have the glue taken out and replaced with another substance. He is doing good now!

Job wants to be a teacher. He plays bass guitar and loves school. We really love him!
