We found this sweet young boy Jonas Alce when we were holding a Mobile Medical Clinic in the remote village of Demesseau. He was just a baby when his mother died in childbirth, and his father brought him to our truck, as we were getting ready to leave the mountains. At the time his father brought him to us, we were renting a tiny house and it was over-crowded with kids. Bobby said to me, “Baby, we have too many kids, and we can’t take in any more.” I said, “Okay,” and then in Creole, I told the father, “Bring him down to our orphanage, we have so many kids now that Bobby won’t realize we have one more!” He was very sick and colicky when he first came to our children’s home, but with lots of good nutritious food and love, he is growing up fast and always wants to help out around Love A Child. He loves playing soccer with his brothers, and he loves to recite the 23rd Psalm. We are so glad God sent him to us. Thank you partners for changing another life in Haiti. Bobby and Sherry
