This wonderful young man is Kidney Francois, though we have always called him Ti Pikan (Little Thorn). His mother Jocelyn had passed away, and father Josue Francois was unable to care for Kidney and his older brother James (Ti Pigeon). The children were sent to stay with relatives, but that did not work out. Months later, an uncle brought the boys to our Love A Child Children’s Home. Both brothers were showing signs of severe malnutrition. He was thin and sickly, and he was also very timid and clung to his brother for the first couple of months. We fed him lots of nourishing food, and his new family gave him lots of love. Today he is all grown up, and a strong young man, who is such a great help at Love A Child. Kidney has finished his schooling, and now he works in our food warehouse helping with our food distributions and keeping everything organized. He assists with other jobs around Love A Child. He is a great help with our younger children. He is an awesome big brother! Thank you, partners, for saving another life in Haiti. God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
