This is Kristela. When she was brought to us, she was malnourished and full of sores! Her mother, grandmother, and great grandmother were deeply involved in Voodoo! We won her mother to the Lord a week before she died. Kristela is now 18 years old and will hopefully finish high school in about another year. Kristela is a special young girl. If she gets into trouble or if I fuss at her, she is sorry and tries to do better. She always has a smile on her face!! And she loves kids!! She always has either baby Zoey or little Zachary in her arms. Today, it is little Zachary, the baby whose mother tried to kill him with a butcher knife, but God had a plan!!
