Update on the new baby… As you may know, we took in another baby. This little baby boy had been the child of a woman who was “out of her mind,” and involved in Voodoo.

He is about two months old. His mother had five children who died and a little sister who is “missing.” When we went to the mother’s house yesterday, the neighbors were so glad we were going to take the baby. They said, “She picked up a knife and was going to kill him!” He had not had a bath since he was born!

Look at how much better he looks after a “real bath!” Last night, the room mother who takes care of him said that when she fed him milk, he was still hungry so she gave him baby cereal and he was very content.

The kids all picked out a name for him, even though we had a lot of great suggestions… His name is Zachary! It will probably be “Zachary Burnette,” but that is up to the Department of Social Services!! Sleep well, little Zachary!! You are in good hands now!”
