Update on Nelson

Update on Nelson: 9-2-18 7: 30 PM

You may remember this little guy named Wisnelson. We call him Nelson and your sponsorship helped change his life. His poor family lived in the village of Old Letant, and Nelson was near death when we discovered him. His family did not have enough food for him. He was starving, naked and his belly was full of worms from eating dirt and animal feces. His family paid no attention to him, neglecting him and left him sitting in the mud with the pigs. He was four-years-old and could not walk, talk or stand because of rickets. He was so sad and very pitiful. We knew we could not leave him in the village or he would die. We brought him to the Love A Child Children’s Home, and our large family welcomed him. All the children hugged and loved Nelson. Our room mothers made sure Nelson ate three nourishing meals each day. It didn’t take long for the food and love to change Nelson’s life. He soon began trying to walk, run and talk. Now, he is the “sunshine” that brightens our days, running, talking, laughing and playing with his many brothers and sisters. He loves his big Christian family and is a delight to all who meet him. We thank all of our wonderful partners for changing another life! We can’t wait to see what the Lord has in mind for this remarkable young boy. God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
