One morning in early January 2018, we found this little boy abandoned in the mud in front of our Love A Child gate. Kaeli, our missionary, took him to the Jesus Healing Center. He was about 2-years-old and had visible signs of abuse as we discovered burns and bruises from beatings and he was starving. We brought him back to our orphanage, bathed him, fed him, held him and gave him clean clothes and a toy, and he fell asleep… It has now been about eight months, and it has been a rough road for this young toddler. We did not know his name, because he didn’t talk. As soon as Social Services released him to our Love A Child Children’s Home, we named him Noah Burnette. He was afraid of everything, and he had several health scares that put him in the hospital. He is slowly on the road to recovery. He can eat food now, though often he tries to hide it. He is very guarded around people, and he is starving for love. He was sadly abused, and it will take him a long while to adjust. Please remember Noah in your prayers as he continues to struggle with his past abuse. He is now eating better, walking and getting many hugs from his new big family. Noah has a big smile when he is around his siblings, as that makes him very happy! Thank you, partners, for helping us save another young life in Haiti. Bobby and Sherry
