This sweet boy is Samuel Orel who was born in the remote mountain village of Greffin. His poor, sick mother passed away in childbirth, and Samuel’s father could not take care of a baby. We don’t know if he has any other siblings. When we first brought him to our Love A Child Children’s Home, he was sickly and cried all the time. It took a long time for Samuel, who suffered from malnutrition and other conditions, to get better. He was very weak, but slowly and with lots of love, Samuel is now healthy and happy. He is becoming a hardworking young man who is working at the Agricultural Training Center this summer learning more about growing fruits and vegetables and how to take care of the land. Samuel loves playing sports with his Love A Child brothers, especially soccer. He also enjoys singing in church.
