This is an update to an earlier post that is noted below…

I had put up this post below about our Savaan Pit School recently. We are building this school and the conditions are awful there. Very rough terrain, no roads as you would know it. The children and people are desperate for food. There has been no rain in a long time. We need two used pick-up trucks, so that we can travel to very rough and out-of-the-way places to deliver food. Today $10,000 came in for one used truck! We are believing the Lord for one more used four-wheel drive truck! Thank you. Bobby

“Our Haitian sons Dieuferly and James, our driver Philemon, and friend John just returned from our Savaan Pit School, which is four hours deep into the interior mountains of Haiti in the middle of “nowhere.” The school is almost finished! We still have work to do. It’s been a long, hard, expensive job. The Haitian workers have been doing a great job. All the children will have a new school when it opens in September! Thank you for those who sent in the $10, the $20 and the $10,000. We are almost there!

Note: Savaan Pit has had no rain. All the crops are dead, the plants have died, and even some of the animals have died. Everyone is desperate for food. We have been taking food up there in smaller amounts because our larger trucks can’t make it in the very rough terrain. We have an urgent need: We are in need of two used “four-wheel drive” pick-up trucks, which can make it to these remote areas to bring food.
