This beautiful girl is Stephanie Mathyr. Stephanie and her brother Georges came to our Love A Child Children’s Home when she was just a few months old. Her mother Elmice Maricile died of starvation, and her father could not care for them. When Stephanie arrived at our children’s home, she was hungry, sickly and never smiled. It didn’t take long for her new family to start loving her. We made sure she had three hot, nourishing meals each day and any necessary medical care. Soon, that sad, little baby began smiling all the time. Today, Stephanie likes to help out in our Jesus Healing Center, and she is doing very well in school. She loves singing with her sisters on the radio and in church, and she enjoys acting. She is a very devout Christian and is full of smiles.
