We found him during a remote mobile clinic in the mountains of Haiti… far away. His father showed up with a small toddler in his arms. We later found out that the toddler was about seven years old! He had severe malnutrition! When we began his health care, it took years for his body to catch up.
Today, Mackenson walks with a limp. We don’t feel sorry for him because he is intelligent, loves the Lord, and has a dream of becoming a Geography teacher! Mackenson had a stroke about two years ago and will probably always walk with a limp, but he doesn’t mind. We want to get him an electric bike so that he can ride to school along with Jackson when he comes home from the hospital.
Thank you for all you have done for Mackenson! God bless you for your love for the poor.
