Birthing Center Update:

We are on schedule to finish the construction of the Birthing Center in December, and open by faith in January! We have raised our $250,000 and will be receiving the $250,000 matching grant within the next few days. Thank you for all who have given and prayed! Now we must raise the money to furnish the inside with the proper medical needs and furniture. We are also praying and thinking about making the whole building (as big as six houses) solar. This will add cost, which we don’t have, but we could save thousands of dollars buying diesel in the long run. Thank you, Mark and Jesse Ostrander, and all the Haitian workers for all your hard work. Thank you for all who have given to get us this far.

So many mothers have died in childbirth and cannot be with us to enjoy this great blessing from the Lord. So many mothers have lost babies who were born in unsanitary conditions. That is why everyone for miles around, from the mountains to many other areas, look forward to the Birthing Center. We are always in need of “Birthing Kits,” which are a constant need!
