This sweet little cutie is Yolanda Estima Burnette. She is another of our children who we found in the remote mountain village of Covant. Her mother, Elmise Hermulus, died of childbirth fever shortly after Yolanda’s birth. She was born into a large family of six other children. Her father, Jean Estima, was unable to care for a large family and a new baby. Yolanda came to our Love A Child Children’s Home shortly after her birth and was welcomed by her new family. The children’s home is the only home she has ever known. She loves to play dress-up with her sisters, and she is doing very well in school!
