This cute young boy is David Desir. We call him Ti David or “Little David.” He was born into a very large family and was the seventh child of a poor Haitian family. His family did not take care of him and cast him aside. A kind neighbor took Ti David into her home and tried to feed and care for him. She could no longer afford to buy food for this little boy, and he was suffering from severe malnutrition. This kind woman took him to the Department of Social Services to find a place for him. They brought him to our Love A Child Children’s Home and this young boy became part of our big family. He is now growing up with nutritious food; he has started attending our Love A Child School with some of his brothers and sisters and is doing very well. He is a bit mischievous and a very lively growing boy, who is learning to play soccer with his brothers. What a blessing for this boy, and to our sponsor that helped give this child a new chance of life. Bobby and Sherry
