There are many towns and villages here in Haiti that the gangs have taken over completely. When they go into the house of a poor person, they take everything they have… their sheets, their clothes, and even the sandals on their feet! They take their children’s clothes and all women’s clothes and yes, men’s clothes too.

We are getting desperate for nice, used clothing. If you could separate the clothing by “men,” “women’s clothing,” and “children’s clothing” on the box, it would be a great blessing! They need “everyday clothes” and clothes to wear to church. Don’t forget, the Haitian people don’t eat much food because they don’t have much, so they are small or maybe medium. Same with the children.

Just box up clean, washed clothes, and mark on the outside of the box: “used women’s clothing,” “used teen-aged boys clothing,” etc. This will be a very big blessing! Pastors are begging us for clothing… and we are completely out! Jeans and tee shirts, church clothes, work clothes, everything!!

The Bible says, “I was naked, and ye clothed me…” Matt. 25:35-40

The things you are wanting to send to “Goodwill” or other places are needed desperately in Haiti right now. God will bless you for “clothing the poor!”
