Recently, I was talking with one of our faithful donors from England about the many “victories” Love A Child donors create, but that maybe you don’t hear about as much as the continual “needs” of the poor in Haiti. Every aspect of the ministry claims many “victories” every day thanks to the support of our partners.
Our “Development for Sustainability” programs claim victories each week with the large harvests by our ATC (Agricultural Training Center) gardeners. Back during WWI and WWII people were encouraged to grow their own “victory” gardens as a way to expand the overall food supply and increase morale. It worked! And the same principles apply in Haiti today. There is great joy in providing your own food and a great sense of accomplishment. Following “Farming God’s Way” practices gives “victory” over hunger and being reliant on others, just as following God’s word gives victory over the enemy.
Enjoy these pictures of this week’s “victory” harvest that results from your faithful support.
God bless you,
