“Waiting on the Lord…”
I try to be patient and I try to be at ease while waiting. Have you ever waited on someone and gotten nervous?
I remember the day Bobby and I got married. I had gone to our church, “Evangel Temple,” in Rockledge, Florida. I was getting dressed in one of the church rooms, but I was anxiously looking out the window for Bobby! He drove a Metropolitan “that was always breaking down!” So I was very worried that he had broken down again! I was so relieved when I saw that “black and white, always breaking down,” car!!
Waiting on the Lord is what we do as believers. We may think the Lord is “three days late,” but He’s always on time.
Isaiah, the Prophet, said it best… “They that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint…” Isaiah 40:31
Even if He is “three days late,” He’s always on time!!
Have a wonderful day.
