We are now in Florida, preparing for a great Love A Child board meeting!

Yesterday, our missionaries, Doug and Jessica Lackey took lots of our kids and headed to Pastor Claude’s Orphanage in Fond Parisien. He had gone to Le Tramble with a bus to pick up all his children from the orphanage to combine them with his new orphanage for a big “watermelon festival!” Ha!

Doug and Jessica Lackey were there with the children and our older girls. They brought big tubs of ice for the watermelons! Some of the children from Claude’s orphanage had never had a piece of ice, let alone, watermelon! Pastor Claude had just harvested 500 watermelons! We had given him seeds for watermelon, okra, corn, etc.! This is what happens when we “plant a seed in good soil”
