This is an emergency! We are working to raise the money needed to repair the well in Fond Parisien. This 300-foot submersible big, heavy, pump with a large motor has been broken for several weeks. This pump gave 1,200 gallons per minute! This well is where all the people living in Fond Parisien came for their five gallon bucket of daily water for living. This well is very important to hundreds living in this area. We have aqueducts running to many of the farmers in the area to give water for their animals and gardens. There has been very little rain here and the gardens and crops will die. All the grass at our Love A Child village has died already. Blue Ridge Well Drilling will repair and replace with new parts for the pump for $13,000.

I have promised we would overnight Blue Ridge $10,000 on Tuesday and then $3,000 when the pump is repaired. We have raised, with your help over $7,347.00, but we need additional funds in order to send the $10,000 check to Blue Ridge on Tuesday. We had several partners give yesterday and we are so grateful. We need enough funds to send the $10,000 check on Tuesday and we need the balance once all the work has been completed. Please help us today meet this need for the Haitians living in Fond Parisien.
