We Christians sometimes forget that God is always present, 24 hours a day, from birth to death! Yes, we go to Church and give to the poor and pay our tithes… but the thing we miss sometimes is II Chronicles 7:14.  (Notice the “If…”)  “If My People, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

God says He will “bear our prayers, forgive our sins, and heal our land.” Sadly enough, with tears in my eyes, our land has not been healed. America has turned into a “filthy country” spiritually. We look “white-washed” on the outside, but inwardly, our country is filthy. All the Lord wants is for us to repent, as a nation. Haiti needs prayer, but America needs prayer also.
