My name is Fernanda Durogene. I am 27 years old, and I am the only girl in my family because all the others are boys.

To tell you the truth, having a child is a blessing from Heaven because, in the area where I come from, I have seen many women praying to have children, but they do not succeed. Perhaps it is not yet God’s will.

I have suffered a lot of pain and difficult times. There are moments when I cannot bear anymore. But one thing is certain: I know that God will take care of me, even though my daughter’s father left me because I did not want to have an abortion.

Looking at my daughter with pride, I feel like a mother. Thank you for being so patient with us pregnant women.

My daughter weighs 3.4 kg (7.5 pounds) and is 50 cm long (19.7 inches).
