This is Michelene Guerrier. She is 29 years old. She is one of our Love A Child kids. We have had her since she was about five years old. There are four children in her family. Michelene is brilliant… She speaks four languages, and now she wants to learn Russian. She is currently working in the Dominican Republic with a timeshare. We don’t get to see her very much, due to all of the problems in Haiti, but we stay in touch. She is one of our kids that I have used “tough love” with. She has learned a lot in her life, and she reads our posts every day and stays in touch with us. We love her so much! We pray that God will open great doors for her in the Dominican Republic and that God will bless her one day with a wonderful Christian husband. Below is an email that she just wrote to us. I asked her if we could share it because it is so sweet, and it shows just how much she has grown and matured. We love Michelene so much! Sometimes children do things that bring tears to our eyes… God has been good, calling us to Haiti. Sherry

How have you been???

I always read the stories of the kids on your page. I just read Yonel’s story and OMG you guys are truly the example of God’s servant (follower), people can feel the LOVE through all the stories you post… Yonel’s story made me laugh at the end, but the way you always forgive those kids is pure love and also tough love when they need punishment (I’m one of them, and I learned a lot. Haha!) ❤…

Only God can reward you for the amazing job you are doing… So blessed and thankful to have you in my life and thank you for having changed my life!!!!
