Everyone who loves the Lord has had an encounter in their life sometime when the presence of the Lord was very close. But what about the times when we cannot feel His presence? Is He still there?

Job felt like that when he went through his great trial. He lost all his children, all his cattle, his house, his health, and he could not feel “His presence.” Job said, “Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive Him. On the left hand, where He forth work, but I cannot behold Him: He hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see.”  But then Job said, “But He knoweth the way that I take; when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” – Job 23:8-10

Even when you feel you are so far away; even when you cannot see Him or hear His voice, He has never left your side!!! He is closer now than ever.
