Just look at this adorable little Haitian boy!! He is “all dressed up for church,” and “he loves it!!” In the States, everyone dresses “more relaxed!” But the Haitian people and their children think “differently.” To them, church is the “House of the Lord,” and Jesus is “King of Kings.”
All Haitian mothers and fathers, children and teens, wear their “best” to church. They are “cultural people,” and from the time they are born, they are expected to understand that when you go to church, you “wear your best,” because Jesus is “higher than anyone, higher than a president!” He is “King of Kings,” and “Lord of Lords!”
The Haitian people, and their poor, find their “very best” to wear to church! If we were invited to the “White House,” we would dress our best. Haitian people consider “the House of God” to be higher than anything, because Jesus is the “King of Kings,” and He should be respected when we gather together for church!
Have a “blessed day” in “the House of the Lord!”
