This girl “loves to cook” more than anything else in the world!!

We have had Widelene and her sister Esther since they were five and under. Widelene’s mother arrived at our gate at home in the mountains of Haiti years ago. Her name was Madamn Jesula, and she thought she was dying and wanted a safe place to leave her children.

It turned out that after sending her mother to a hospital, we found out she was anemic and hungry. We took her in and have been raising her children with “mom” for many years.

Widelene had always been sweet! She loved cooking and dreamed of becoming a Professional Chef! She is now in college, fulfilling her dream!! She “loves” to cook, and she “loves” for us to taste her new foods!

She is a devout Christian and will make some young guy a good wife!! Ha!! (It’s time to get these girls married off!!!)

We love Widelene and all the kids and want God’s best for them!
