Wilguens (Jacque) is now 11 years old and in the 6th grade. When his mother died, his stepfather could not take care of him, nor his sister, Fabienne. There were many times when his stepfather left him and his sister alone while he was working. Both children became malnourished. That’s when the Department of Social Services took both children away.

Wilguens loves to sing and dance. The kids say, “He dances like King David in the Bible!” He wants to be a mechanic. He will make a good one because whatever he does, he does it well!

We all love Wilguens. The kids call him “Grandpa.”
