“Faithfulness…”
In Luke 15:10-13, Jesus talks about faithfulness. It is rare, indeed. After living here in Haiti for over 26 years, we have seen many missionaries come and go. But, the one thing most of them lacked was “faithfulness.” Some were jealous, some were envious and wanted to do “bigger and better.” But, they lacked faithfulness. God had put them in a place to be blessed, but they were not faithful.
Jonathan, the son of Saul, had an armor bearer. The young man’s name is never mentioned in the Bible but his faithful, courageous deed is. Jonathan decided to go to battle against the Philistines, but he only had his “faithful” armor bearer with him. But the armor bearer was faithful and whatever Jonathan asked him to do, he did, even if it meant his life. Be faithful on your job, be faithful to your children, and when you make a promise, keep it! Be faithful to your church, and your pastor, and God will bless you! “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…” Luke 16:10 – Have a good day, and be “faithful!” Sherry
