“Look On Us…”
“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.”
Acts 3:1 – Here, they saw a man, lame from his mother’s womb, who had never walked or even stood up upon his feet. He was carried every single day, and was laid at the gate of the temple. (Probably to beg for a little money.) Peter and John just happened to be going up and “something drew Peter’s eyes toward this man,” or rather, it was “someone.” Jesus caused Peter to see this man’s need. And Peter and John having no money said, “LOOK ON US.” And the man expecting to receive something from them, looked at them. That was the point of a miracle! Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” Acts 3:6 – And instantly, the man was healed, and went “walking, leaping, jumping and praising God in the temple.” In today’s world, there are people all around us…watching us in the store, in the checkout line, in the doctor’s office, and they are really looking for Jesus. But the only way they can see Him is in you. Can you say, “Look on us, or look at me?” I represent Jesus. Always be prepared for God to use you to work a miracle in someone’s life every day! God is good…all the time! Sherry
